The final LOTV Calendar of 2011

DSC_0001

This is the last calendar I have to share for 2011. This year I used the whole pack of 10 calendars. lol what an achievement.

The image is of dandelion clock by LOTV, is coloured with ProMarkers and has a few touches of glitter and flock. The background is from a dove craft 6x6 paper pack.

Forever Friends Challenge and Paper Roses

Hi everyone hope you’ve all had a good Christmas and New Year. I just want to apologise for not posting in a while my New Years resolution is to post more often, enter more challenges and be more creative.

So today I am posting a card and calendar I have created for the Forever Friends Challenge which is to create a cheerful card that has 2 layers a ribbon and something that sparkles.

Here is my entry:

Both of my creations use the Forever Friends valentines clear stamp set but as you can see the image does not have to be used for such cards. The paper rose I created using a tutorial by Tim Holtz which you can find by clicking here. I however did not use the die Tim Holtz did instead I replicated it in Cricut Design Studio using two flowers from Plantin SchoolBook. If you would like the cut file please leave a comment on this post with your email address.

Here is a close up of the flowers I created:
